Shearcut is a fast growing processing centre that offers an in-house processing facility to the BSI group. Based at the Kliprivier site in Gauteng, the stand alone operation of Shearcut offers the added flexibility to deal with a wide range of COM customers ( Customer Own Material) and associated processing requirements. Shearcut prides itself on efficient customer service and accessible technical know how to both its internal and external customers. COIL SLITTING
Our slitting operation offers light to medium gauge coil slitting within the strip thickness range of 0.4mm to 3.0mm. Maximum incoming coil width is 1550mm and a coil mass up to 26tons. The line is kitted with two interchangeable slitter heads for quick changeovers.

Our robust American built Red Bud Cut to Length line offers an exceptional cutting and levelling capability to process HR, CR and Galv. Coils within the thickness range of 0.5mm to 3.0mm. The line is fitted with a six high Bradbury leveller for precision sheet levelling.
